PROMiSE NETWORK LAUNCH September 2009

My first paid job for People’s Voice Media as a freelancer was to cover the launch of the PROMiSE Network which was held in Preston. Finally I got to travel for work!  The network was set up to help 3rd Sector and Voluntary Sector Mental Health providers to interact with the NHS and help develop it’s Mental Health Improvement Plan.

TARGET WELLBEING : WINNING AT WELLBEING October 2009

My second paid job, this time in Liverpool. This video features the annual get together of Target Wellbeing groups, which allows them to share ideas and insights with each other about ways to improve the health and wellbeing of communities.

FOOTPRINTS FOR THE FUTURE June 2010

My third paid  job, in Salford. The Footprints for the Future conference was held in June to launch Salford City Council’s new climate change strategy “Creating a City prepared for The Future”. It features speakers from Salford University, URBED, ENWORKS, Peel Holdings, New Deal for Communities, The Environment Agency, Salix Homes, Energy Saving Trust and Salford City Council. The conference was held to bring partners together to share ideas and knowledge and get everyone working together to make Salford a sustainable city for the future.

OPEN FOR ALL? October 2011

The Open For All? Voluntary Sector North West conference brought together delegates from third sector and voluntary organisations to discuss contemporary issues and challenges in the age of The Big Society and the Localism Bill, and shared knowledge and strategies for sustainability in the current financial climate.
